I'll be offering my next photography class in the new one day format on 1/19/19 from 2pm-7:30pm, with just over 5 hours of hands on learning in a full afternoon of fun. Please know that everyone walks in worried they won't “know” enough. We start with turning our camera on, and by the end of class you will be AMAZED at what you're able to capture with your new knowledge! 

Who this class is for: Beginner/ Amateur/ hobbyist photographers. If you know nothing about photography but would love to learn, or if you already feel you have the soul of a photographer but want a better understanding of ISO, aperture and SS (don't know what those words mean?! no worries, you will by the time we're done:) AND how they work together, then this class is for you!

When: Saturday, January 19th, 2019. Class will start at 2:00pm and we will work in studio. We will end with sparkler photos and class officially ends at 7:30pm. A detailed schedule will be provided upon registration.

Where: In my studio at 500 Old Market Rd, Potsdam, NY

You will Need: a DLSR camera, your camera's manual, the "textbook" we will be using (provided by me and yours to keep. You will LOVE having this down to earth, easy to understand book in your library:), a set of lovely little cheat sheets I designed to live in your camera bag, and motivation to learn!

What we will cover: The basics of your camera and how to change all the settings (aperture, ISO, shutter speed, white balance), what all those settings mean and how changing these affect your final image. We will practice: using them together, finding light, feeling light, mastering your camera in full manual mode, and shooting in manual in real life. 

Our Goal: To get it right in camera! Our goal is to move beyond the "I'll fix it in photoshop" mentality and produce an image with sharpness, clarity, and true to life color with the click of your shutter.

Investment: SALE PRICE $250 (normally $315.00) and includes my time with you in class, your supplies, and tax, as well as access to a private facebook group where we share images, ask questions and enjoy each others work. Class will be limited to 8 participants to ensure lots of individual attention.
